Financing/Payment Plan

Sometimes paying for your pet’s veterinary bills can be expensive. Especially when it is something unexpected like a poor blocked kitty. If you find yourself in this position, there are options through financing.

What is Petcard?

Petcard is a Canadian financing program that has been helping with veterinary expenses since 1996. With Petcard there are no down payments, no collateral, no fee for early payment, and high approval rates. You can also have multiple loans with Petcard so there is no stress if you’re still paying off one loan and something unexpected happens again. If your credit is not well enough for this, you also have the option to apply with a co-signer.

How does Petcard work?

You can submit an application by visiting Petcard.ca. When applying you can choose what portion of the bill you would like financed. You can choose to finance the whole amount or just a portion. After this step, you can select your payment terms from 6 months up to 6 years. Once Petcard receives the application, a representative will notify you by phone. If your application is approved you will be sent documents to sign and return along with a void cheque. Once this step is completed, Petcard will send us payment.

We understand that pet care is expensive but no pet should be without the care that they need.
