Dr. Don Slaunwhite

Dr. Slaunwhite graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 1992 after receiving his Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University in 1988. He is proud to live in the same community where he practices. He and his wife have three active boys. He is on the local Jr. High advisory council, and is a strong supporter of minor sports in the area. He has coached hockey, baseball and soccer in the local area. For relaxation, he can be found floating on the Atlantic, either off of Shediac or PEI with his family. His veterinary interests include soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.

Dear Clients,

With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we can continue providing our full range of services, under certain restrictions.

We are continuing to see all cases by appointment only including pets in need of: vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, parasite prevention, and more.

Starting November 26, 2020, clients are no longer permitted inside the hospital for purchases or appointments (with some exceptions for specific appointments).



Beginning on Monday, September 21, we are available to serve you and your pets during the following hours:

Monday - Friday: 7:30 am – 7:30 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
Sunday: CLOSED
