Dr. Chelsea Bitar

Dr. Chelsea Bitar graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2013. Prior to her veterinary studies, she graduated with distinction from Dalhousie University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Biology. Chelsea is originally from the Hydrostone area of Halifax and currently resides in Bedford with her fiancé Kyle. They have three cats: Simba, the 18 year old tabby, Panda, the three-legged Tuxedo cat, and Reese's Pieces, a retired breeding Exotic Shorthair. For relaxation, she enjoys travelling to warm destinations with family and friends. Her veterinary interests include emergency medicine and senior pet care.

Dear Clients,

With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we can continue providing our full range of services, under certain restrictions.

We are continuing to see all cases by appointment only including pets in need of: vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, parasite prevention, and more.

Starting November 26, 2020, clients are no longer permitted inside the hospital for purchases or appointments (with some exceptions for specific appointments).



Beginning on Monday, September 21, we are available to serve you and your pets during the following hours:

Monday - Friday: 7:30 am – 7:30 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
Sunday: CLOSED
